Diccionario collects no personal data. The app contains no analytics, no advertising and no third-party tracking, and it does not require an account.
The app works offline
The entire dictionary ships inside the application. Diccionario does not contact any server in order to work: it does not send your searches anywhere, because it makes no network connections at all.
What is stored on your device
- Recent searches. The list of words you have looked up is stored only in local storage on your device, so it can be shown to you the next time you open the app. It is never transmitted to a server and is not accessible to the developer.
You can clear this list at any time with “Borrar todas” on the main screen, or by swiping an individual word. Deleting the app removes this data with it.
External links
The information screen links to es.wiktionary.org, creativecommons.org and kaikki.org. Opening one hands you over to your browser, and that site's privacy policy applies from that point on rather than this one.
Children
The app is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes
If a future version of the app were ever to collect data, this page would be updated before that version shipped and the date above would change.
